I laughed and laughed- seriously all so true.
Here's the text:
Why Having a Toddler is
Like Being at a Frat Party*
Thursday, June 10, 2010
*That one frat party I've ever been to, having gone to a Very Serious Arts College.
9. There's always that one girl, bawling her eyes out in a corner.
8. It's best not to assume that the person closest to you has any control over their digestive function.7. You sneak off to the bathroom knowing that as soon as you sit down, someone's going to start banging on the door.
6. Probably 80% of the stains on the furniture contain DNA.
5. You've got someone in your face at 3 a.m. looking for a drink.
4. There's definitely going to be a fight.
3. You're not sure whether anything you're doing is right, you just hope it won't get you arrested.
2. There are crumpled-up underpants everywhere.
1. You wake up wondering exactly how and when the person in bed with you got there.
here are a few more that were added as comments that made me laugh too:
There is a fair chance that you will only understand 10 percent of what anyone says to you, even though they speak with great passion and in a loud voice.
there's always that one person who's just begging to be picked up.
If there's a wet spot in the bed, you just throw a towel over it or move to the other side.
-They want to play the same song over and over again and sing only to the refrain, poorly.
- At least 10 times somebody will be yelling "Hey, watch this".
- Spinning around and flapping your arms counts as dancing.
Anyone with an open cup is likely to spill.
You find yourself saying things like, "Get that damn squirrel out of the house and stop feeding him the expensive cereal bars." No one bats an eye.
some little guy is going to spit up and then pass out with his face in your cleavage and a drunken smile on his face.
someone is always taking your keys from you
People can't climb the stairs without using their hands.
No one walks in a straight line and they randomly fall down.

Hysterical! The heathen one of us has been to enough frat parties to appreciate these alot - the one which got the most laughs was the squirrel one, thx for the smiles :)
