I read in a baby development book that babies latch on to one new sound at a time and practice it for a week or two before moving on to another. Sam's past sounds have been sort of normal but cute baby goos and coos, but not this one. For the past few days he has been working on a baby dinosaur impression. It's really funny at dinner time but not so much at 7 in the morning.
School has been going well too- I did a presentation on IVF and hormonal birth control and then led the class discussion on it. John gave his testimony to his class and is learning loads of grammer. Sam is doing well in the nursery- they have a very communal attitude so they just set Sam up in a chair to watch the other kids (who are a bit older) play. It didn't work well at all at first, but now Sam does fine and his new skill (being able to sit alone) is paying off at home too. He is also learning to fall asleep for naps on his own. So that is good.
