Here's one last pic with Sam's babysitter and her son in Morocco. We will miss them.

And here is a pic of Sam with Dave who we're staying with- he and his wife Theresa have shown us awesome hospitality this last week and we are really grateful .
There are two dogs here- Sam was terrified at first, but each day he gets a bit riskier- he now likes to throw the rubber dog toy and have them chase it, but when they come towards him he opens his mouth, backs up, and grabs his chest. Precious. Well I planned on posting a vid- but it looks like I'm not going to have luck tonight- try again tomorrow.
We're not having much luck finding houses or apartments for rent. We're trying lots of different things, but no leads yet. We did have a somewhat productive day though- we went to a French doctor in town to check out the medical services and see how we'll get Sam's vaccines this year. We had lunch at a local stall- I had beans, and manioc leaves and manioc. John had salted fish, chicken some kind of sour vegetable that we don't know the name of and manioc. It was good- and cheap (sort of hard to do here). I read a biography of de Brazza the Italian-French explorer who founded Brazzaville. He actually sounds like a decent guy- look him up on wikipedia. Then we went to the US Embassy to register. And a great couple had us over for dinner- so nice of them and it was delicious (we are really getting treated).
