just a quick update (since we've been out of touch)

We've been staying in our house for a week now and just yesterday we had working water for the first time. So exciting! We've already done 6 loads of laundry (everything that was in our crates from Morocco molded :-( ) and John's really doing a great job installing and fixing up a few more things.

We had a pretty stressful time with our contractors and the few other plumbers and stuff that we've had to hire- the negotiating is stressful and we lost about 300 dollars through our contractors misappropriation of funds- ugh! But all in all we're on an upswing now :-)

It will just be a few more days and I'll take some after pictures (though we won't be all set up until we get the furniture from the 2nd family that's leaving).

Sam's growing and thriving-understands so much and is totally incredible. I will definitely try to post some examples, but take it from me that he's turned another corner closer to toddlerhood.

Hey guysQ! WE know how a life of transition is and just wanted to say we're praying for you and are proud of you! Take one day at a time, do your best each day, and trust in the Lord that THAT WAS ENOUGH for that day, and let him bring on the new one...(John, that is especially for YOU!) WE can't conquer "ROME" in a day...life takes time...live it well...Peace!
