Video extravaganza

Here are some videos from the past few weeks. They are not at all in order, that would be more work than I can manage- especially given how hard it was to get these to load :-) There was some debate between John and I about whether all these unedited videos would actually be wanted (we can't get our video splitter to work on vista yet), but I assured him that at the very least a few hardcore Sam-fans would lap them up - so this is for you (you know who you are)

Here's Sam on his new bike! He's been really into motorbikes and other bigger kids bikes recently so when we saw a used one for sale we snapped it up. He didn't get off it for 40 minutes (then we had to take him off it to get to bed).

This is from Sibiti when Sam got to ride in the back of the pick-up with John. It's good for showing the surroundings a bit too and how dirty Sam got (and that was after two baby wipes to the face- they only made it worse really)

This night Sam was in a great mood, dancing, spinning and laughing. At the beginning he hears the dogs bark and says 'dog' but John didn't understand the subtle difference between Sam's 'dog' and his 'da' which is just a randomish vocalization- can you blame him?

Here's Sam enjoying a soymilk popsicle on our porch- our dogs make an appearence and so does our guard, Emmanuel (he's Elize's husband)


here's one of Sam and the chickens. This is at the house we stayed at in Sibiti. I wish we'd gotten more of the actual chasing- sometimes he chased them a lot and giggled profusely.

this is in the house we stayed at in Sibiti- Sam was playing a hi/bye game with me (he's really only just started waving goodbye recently). Anyway- this video is mid-way through that game so there's a big side distraction of actually getting the key in the door- but even that is very classic Sam these days.

This one shows our dining room- he was making this fun noise with his mouth which he only does once for the camera- but I thought hey- why not load this one too :-)


Here's one of Sam at his baby club (this day it was at the tennis club playground). It's the oldest of these videos and shows some of the nannies and kids too.
