We've been having some hard times. Partly related to work, partly related to technology. For example, our hard drive broke right after that last post. John assures me that one day we'll get back the pics from the first four months here, but I'm just glad to have the blog since most of the best is recorded here.
Also, we're having pretty big electricity/generator problems. We find that these things are only frustrating when you aren't expecting problems. So it was less difficult to have the electricity cut when we didn't have a generator, but this week our generator (which was bought new three weeks ago) hasn't been working. We're really really hoping it can be fixed. No waranty here. And our regular electricity is having problems too- the tenants before us wired the house funny and it's putting a lot of pressure on one fuse so that goes a few times a day. Hopefully, we'll make more progress this week.
Anyway, we have had some highlights.
I've gotten in some great playing time with Sam- like this time in the sand box.
And this walk we took together was a total highlight. I just let him out our gate and said he could go whereever he wanted to. He went to Mama Elize's house (which is down our street), but as you can see in the video- he stopped every once in awhile to tell me that Mama Elize was at our house so she wouldn't be at her house.

When we got to her house, we found her daughter and another baby that lives there and Sam had great fun playing.
When we got back, he was really thirsty and drank this whole cup.

Here's another video of Sam watching videos of my parents. He has seen them a bunch of times so he has favorite parts now.
