Update on our travels

We're having a wonderful time in our travels. We've done so much already and we're just getting started on our US trip. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to blog about what we've seen and done and who we've visited, but I thought I'd just write a bit.

So far we've been to Morocco, Scotland, England, Boston, Philly, DC, and NJ and we're flying to AL and driving to FL tomorrow.

We've seen family, friends from college, teaching in Japan, our years in Philly, and our time in Aceh. We've met three new kids and one new spouse (those numbers will greatly increase as we travel!)

And we've really been enjoying American foods, the scenery in temperate climates (flowering trees, spring, rugged beauty of Scotland, etc), and being back in the country of our birth (okay, so John is less American than TCK, but still...).

Sam is holding up pretty well with the travels despite being two in every sense. We're having fun introducing him to everyone as well.

If we don't have a chance to see you while we're back in the US, know that we love you all the same, it's just that with a limited time we can't get everywhere. There are loads of people we'd like to see but won't be able to. Oh well. Some days we're having three-four social engagements a day! Man, oh, man!
