costume fun

I saw a superman costume on sale here so I went for it... I know that superheroes are a bit cliche, but I think there is a reason that they are such a constant favorite with little kids. Take Sam, he doesn't know anything about Superman except what we've told him- has never seen a movie or cartoon with Superman in it. But he has a towel with Superman on it and some stickers- so we told him that he is strong, that he can fly, that his eyes can see through things, that he saves people, etc. Just that amount of info was enough for Sam to create a ton of pretend scenarios on his own.

Here he is taking off-
And hearing someone call for help
Gotta love the glasses (and the tree in the background which is sticker wall art that I got at a 35 Baht store)

Sam's superstrength comes from his blankie of course :-)Then Sam took off his cape and we played with SuperJeff

And here's a video of Sam playing SuperSam

Oh and someone was asking me how Sam is talking these days... I thought that this video was a good example of where he's at.

Sam is probably the only two year old in the world who says Bangladesh as a travel destination...
like father, like son.

They are both super cute. And Jeff is so roly poly, it's adorable.

love the videos- he is such a little chatter. Also cool that he thought of me and Lucy. :)
