Loving Chichester

We arrived this morning in London and came down to Chichester for the next few days. I love it here. It's my third time and our friends Ben and Kelly have moved and I like their new home and location even more than their last place. They have a lovely yard and a quiet neighborhood and it's walking distance from a wonderful Wissahickon Gorge like walking path and it's walking distance into the center of the city which is where John's NGO's office is. Today Sam and Jeff and I went to feed ducklings at a pond and then walked into town and visited the cathedral. Sam really liked the art and stained glass windows and then just as we were there the peregrine falcons that nest there every year had three of their eggs hatch and we got to see them eat their first meal on the live webcam set up in the garden of the cathedral. Did you know that peregrine falcons are the fastest animals (240 mph) and that they only eat other birds. Even the babies just eat raw bird meat. So interesting! Then we had pasties and watched Sam at a lovely playground.

It's so great to see Ben and Kelly and Stanley (who was a month old last time we were here and now is 13 months!). PLus we get to have tea tons of times a day, scones, crumpets, pasties and all these cold weather climate fruits (plums, pears, berries, etc)- oh and cheese! So it's fun to be here. Yeah yeah yeah for Chichester
