Sam, Pi Pound, Jeff and I went to the zoo to go to the snow dome (-7 degrees celsius with igloo and sledding track) to celebrate Sam's last day of school. It was tons of fun- so neat to see Sam and Pi Pound experiencing snow for the first time. We couldn't take pics from the inside though- so here's one from the zoo tram.

Sam decided to sleep in his toy box one afternoon

Jeff is Sam's favorite toy- he loves using him as a prop in his imaginings. This day, the crib was a boat, Sam was the captain and Jeff was his passenger. He kept telling Jeff not to fall into the water and to look at the dolphins.
John was away for the whole of Easter weekend. Sam and I did egg coloring, egg hunts, painted with the leftover dye, went to an Easter party, to church and out for a ham dinner at a restaurant. It was strange to celebrate with only a three year old and a baby for company, but we had a good time.

I love the pics, and congratulations on persevering through your Easter celebration without your man...that would be hard for me, but all your activities sound so fun.
