We (both, really!) love the winter in America

Okay well maybe that isn't strictly true. I love it 100% and most of the time John shivers and laments the cold weather and misses Malaysia's tropical climate (plus his family there too of course). But we went for a walk in the snow in Wissahickon Gorge (our favorite trails in Philly) and John loved it and took tons of pictures. I guess snow is still a novelty for him. Things I love about the winter include- the need to wear slippers, flannel pants, and bathrobes and the chance to drink cocoa and the smell of the air when it's really cold or has just snowed and the snow itself.





Also, John was saying something about how much prettier he thought the sunsets in Asia are- but this picture from Boston (taken from the T) can at least compete :-)
