too much information for some? :-)

But I know that at least a few of you want to see pics of our place- so here goes...

Here's a little blueprint I made on paint- it's not perfect though obviously but here it is and the key is below and then pics follow (doors are in blue- and you can right click on this image to view image and then zoom in)1) balcony we'll screen in
2) salon/dining room
3) kitchen
4) hallway
5 and 6- bedrooms of equal size (probably 5 will be the office and 6 Sam's room)
7) smaller bedroom (5,6,7 have built in closet space) 7 will be storage/pantry
8) bathroom with tub/toilet
9)little useless bathroom hallway
10) toilet we won't use- no sink and what's the point of so many?
11) our bedroom
12) our bathroom with tub/toilet
13) side garden with our water storage tank, ivy on the wall
14) the garage- covered but not enclosed with 18) it's own gate
15) the guard's shower
16) the guard's toilet
17) the back garden (i'm thinking veggies and fruit
18) just the car gate
19) the walking gate with a stone foot path
20) this corner has the electrical stuff and water pump and stuff behind grates

Here are the pics:

The house from the front gate- we're going to close off the metal here with bamboo for more privacy

the front porch which we'll screen in and the foot path(try to imagine grass everywhere too)
the side garden
the garage and back gate
the guard's area on the right and the back garden
another view of the back
the back porch with kitchen window
the front porch again
the salon/dining room
the other view (front door)
the kitchen 1
2nd view of kitchen
3rd view
one of the bedrooms- maybe the office?
the other bedroom- Sam's?
the third bedroom (pantry/storage)
the useless bathroom corridor :-) with a view of the toilet we'll never use
and then the bathroom we will
this is our bathroom (in our room)
and here are two pics of our room- with the stuff the landlord is trying to sell from the previous tenant who had to leave suddenly and owed rent

We hired a contractor who will be fixing all the electrical outlets, installing lights, painting, fixing broken windows and ceiling pieces, screening in the front porch, changing the locks, fixing up the cabinets in the kitchen, the toilets, fixing the bathroom tiling where it's falling off, re-mosquito netting the house, fixing broken windows, covering all the various things in the garden that Sam could fall into or touch (water tank, electrical circuit thing, drainage well, etc), among other things. I think it will be done by the 23rd of June amazingly and we'll be able to move in. The guard assures us that grass grows super fast and that we'll have a beautiful yard in no time :-)

Great place guys! I'm really glad it's working out and that you're happy with it. Like Mimi, I can't wait for the after pics, too.
