A slow week

All three of us have been sick all week sadly, though Sam has been pretty cheerful at least (wish I could say the same for John and I).

We've got a few transitions in our French learning this month too. Our regular teacher will be out for surgery so the teacher we had for two weeks in June is back in town to cover. Also, John's tutor Mike (whom we adore) found out that his school here decided to reoffer the stage that he just finished so he's either got to wait 6 months or go back to DRC to try to keep moving forward. So we'll probably both be looking for new tutors this month. Other than that, French learning is going pretty well, though I've been a bit discouraged because my tutoring situation hasn't really worked out for the last two months.

So today John and I decided to dress Sam up- no fancy costumes available here though so Sam dressed up like his favorite hero (John of course).
