Last day

Today was a pretty emotional day for me (us I guess too). It was our last day of class so we took our wonderful teacher Amal out to eat and then finished off the last bit at school as always. It's amazing to me how much we've learned and also how much we still have to learn. I'm a bit torn about that. But a lot of what we know is owed to Amal since we have had her far more than any other teacher this year.

Our last class meant Sam's last babysitting afternoon. Mounia (note proper spelling- I"ve been messing that up all year) has been such a blessing to us- loving Sam and taking great care of him, teaching him games, and on top of all that she somehow managed to make us snacks, salads, and even meals a couple times a week. I'm just so glad that we will be able to see both of these women again before we leave for Congo.
Here John celebrates our last day of class by galloping all over the house with Sam. :-) Sam is just completely clueless about all the changes that are going to be taking place over the next several months. He's really a great little trooper though- so I'm not too worried about it.
