keeping busy...

Our due date was yesterday, which means that in all likelihood we'll be having this baby sometime in the next two weeks (or a bit more). We're keeping busy though- playing hard and resting hard. I'm getting 12 hours of sleep a day, more or less, so I can't be accused of over-exerting myself, but we're also doing a lot out and about which is such great fun- I'm especially enjoying doing things that weren't available in Aceh and won't be in Morocco or Rep. of Congo-like everything featured here today (art museum, Latin American food, American historical stuff, everything in this glorious temperate climate :-)

My Uncle Clark came last week for a visit- which was great fun. We ate delicious Latin American food, visited the Edgar Allen Poe national historic site, and went walking in Wissahickon Gorge (my previously mentionned favorite place in Philly- pictured here).

Then on Saturday, our good friend Trudy from college and also from Aceh, Indonesia, came up for a visit. It was great to see her again and in America too.
We went to the Wharton Esherick Museum www.levins.com/esherick.html and all four of us loved it- he was a wood sculptor, furniture maker, architectural interiors guy who worked near Valley Forge, PA (1897-1970). I really recommend this visit to anyone in the Philly area.

Sunday we had lunch at a great Mexican restaurant at 9th and Washington with all these great folks from church :-)
