This is the first time I've used the internet since I last posted- so sorry to those of you who have emailed without response.
We had a great week with our friends- I'm thinking that there will have to be many pics posted from this visit- a few favorites that you can look forward to seeing someday are "Baby on Minaret" and "Frog on Pita"- though that will require me getting copies from B-rad and the Beccstar so we'll see how long that takes. Seriously though, as Cameron pointed out, the visit rocked in large part because the six of us travelled really well together. It was really special to be able to innaugarate our apartment with some fun friend-time and to explore this country with good friends.
Today my Dad got back so he and Sam met each other- it is seriously wonderful to see my parents and other people I love with our son. Sam also laughed for the first time (I feel like that is the kind of fact that only a small portion of you reading would care to know- so at least you know I'm thinking of you).
We're back into French with a passion this week (at least I am- John is working on building up his passion for French) and will be finishing up unpacking now that our last two bags are here (my Dad brought them). Hopefully our internet/computer/hard drive situation will be fixed so I can get back to using the blogging crutch that is pictures :-)
