Here are pictures of our friends Ben and Kelly Wilkes, and Dave Sandler. We all met up in Medan for the end of Ramadan holiday and went off to see the orangutans but also hung out all the time in Banda Aceh. Ben and Dave were on John's soccer team, and Kelly was in my Bible study, and we had lots of fun sharing meals, watching soccer, going to the beach etc. Ben and Kelly are leaving Banda Aceh next week and will be in Romania next year and Dave should be seen on this blog in a few weeks since he's coming for a quick visit to Penang :-)

Great to see us featured on the blog!
Good to read your entry about leaving Aceh. We are dealing with that all right now, saying the final goodbyes and throwing away everything that will not fit into the bags (stupid kites!!!).
Unfortunately my tears couldn't wait for the plane, already been flowing freely. Luckily I have about 4 packs of tissues in my bag for tomorrow.
Hope Dave finally arrived safely! Have fun together. Wish we were there too!!! We were just saying tonight how it was such a shame we didn't make it to Penang, HONEST!!
